How much formula is your one month old eating?

  When my first son was in the nicu we were always told that they can drink up to half of their weight at a time ..... So if he weighed 8lbs he could drink up to 4 ounces at a time.... Not sure if that is helpful or not...

  Could be. Is he rooting or sucking? My situation is a little different, since my LO was born six weeks early, but since he was supposed to be born on April 1st, developmentally he's about one month old. He takes between four and six ounces right now. I'm not totally sure what he weighs right now, but I'm guessing between 9 and 10lbs.
