Stepped up on a curb while trying to dodge around a crowd and rolled my foot and heard a pop. Would've went down, but there was one of those pop up canopy tent things and I caught myself on the pole.
Urgent care visit, X-rays, yada yada yada, and it's broken and I most likely will need a pin put in. Will be calling an orthopedic doc Monday morning.
Feeling sorry for myself because this not only messes with a lot of fun things we had planned this month, but most of all I can't drive! At least not yet. I can't put any weight or pressure on my foot and of course it's the right one. :-(
I've been using crutches that we had from DH's knee surgery but I'm just not good at them. I fell trying to get up the one step into the house and caught on my bad foot and then went down hard to my knees. I don't think DH's ever heard me scream like that. Of course TTC is now off the table for a bit because pain pills, surgery, etc.
Anyway, I know in the scheme of things, all will be well, and there are a lot worse problems in the world, but tonight, right now, I just want to cry... and cry some more.
Sorry for the vent. I just needed to get that out. Thanks for listening!

So sorry, and I really hope you don't need the pin!!!
So far DH is doing great taking care of me. I'm nervous about this week. I'm probably going to send him to my office to pick up my laptop so I can work from home at least until I can get in to see the doc. I hate crutches so much!
