TTC after 35

CM question...

Does anyone else find observing CM a little confusing?

After last cycle's complete lack of a positive OPK I have decided to pay closer attention to and rely more on CM and cervical position, to pinpoint my fertile phase. Problem is, results are far from being straightforward.
Yesterday I *think* I had a lot of egg white CM and the day before a lot of sticky CM. Today I have observed a mix of creamy and egg white CM at the same time, so which one should I select in FF?
So confused...

Re: CM question...

  • I'm not sure how much I can help since I have egg white CM for most of my cycle (which I think is due to having PCOS) but I think when two present themselves on the same day, you report the one that is higher on the fertile scale. For example, if you are see sticky and creamy throughout the day, you'd report creamy. So I think in your case you would enter eggwhite. Hopefully you'll see a clear pattern. Do you also temp?

  • Oh, that makes sense, thanks! Yes, I do also temp and haven't had a rise this cycle yet.
