Sex after baby...

I know you get the whole "no sex for 6 weeks" talk. I know why, I'm not questioning it, but is anyone incredibly horny? I literally had my son Thursday morning and at this point I'm not sure how I'll make it a week let alone 6 weeks with as turned on as I am... Ugh, my problems could be SO much worse I guess.

    I was totally the same after my first. I caved after two weeks. And when I went into my check up I was like shunned by my Dr. I had to wait another two weeks before she would even talk about birth control, obviously to make sure i hadn't gotten preggers right away. But she made me feel like I was this awful person for it. Now I just laugh at it. I'm afraid I wont make it the six weeks after this one either. Sex isn't the same during your last trimester, or at least its not for me. Ps, id had a C-section.

    It can be pretty dangerous to not wait the 6 weeks so as much as it sucks it's better than causing problems down there and having to wait even longer.

    My midwife told me she caught a couple having sex in the hospital about 6 hours after the woman gave birth, WTF made me cringe

    Yuck that's gross. My friend said the husband of the woman who shared the same room has her was trying to have sex with his wife straight away and they kicked him out and he wasn't allowed back and they tried to keep her in longer so they could have her heal

    Yeah it's common place around here among Amish that come to the hospital to give birth. The nurses have walked in on the couples having sex not long after the baby was born.

    I only made it a few weeks after my first lol

    Eww 6 hours? I'm pretty sure my only thought at 6 hours was "for the love of God let me sleep". Don't get me wrong I'm super horny and all, but I'll at least wait until I'm done bleeding lol. I think after the last one I made it to like 3 or 4 weeks, so I'm trying pretty hard to not think about it.

    I tore really bad after my first, so I waited the six weeks...and then some, I think. Sex hasn't been good at all for the last few months, though. I think we've tried about three times in the last five months alone? It's really sad to think about, but thankfully I have a very supportive and understanding DH. He's left it alone and doesn't complain.
