Last minute name change? WWYD?

So we have been planning on naming our boy Daniel. Our families have been referring to him as Daniel. I even have a monogram above his crib. But now I think we should name him
Asher... I think it has more personality. What would you do??

    If DH fine with it just take the monogram off and call him Asher :) Daniel can still be his middle name maybe?

    Why don't you wait until you meet him and see what you think suits him best? I've been second guessing our name that we were set on from day one but I think it's hormones so I'm not doing anything drastic.

    I think maybe waiting till you meet baby boy would be a good idea. Or maybe use Daniel or Asher (one or the other) as middle name.

    We had a name set and two weeks ago dh informed me he hates it. So of course we had to change it. We talked about a few options and we are waiting till we have ds2. I joked and said maybe we can't decide on a name cause they got the ultrasound wrong and we are having a girl. Lol

    Nothing wrong with changing the name. I'd wait until you see the baby to make final choice. (Side note - I'm partial to Asher because that's my 4 year old's name ;) )

    Team green and lurking from early June. My dh and I are coming up with 2 girl and 2 boy names and once l/o is born we will decide.

    My son's name is Daniel and it doesn't fit at all. We've even tried calling him Danny, but that doesn't fit either. So he is now called Buddy. You can change then name if you want. It is your child. :)
