my baby gets the hiccups in the womb multiple times a day every single day for as long as I can remember now. Is that normal??

Yup. This baby has rapid fire hiccups 3-4 times every single day. Of course dr Google told me it could be a sign of cord entanglement and my actual real life trained doctor looked at me like I had 9 heads when I brought that up...

    It's interesting b/c I don't think I've felt my baby have hiccups yet and I'm 35 weeks!
  • Yup, my baby gets them 3-4 times daily.

@btm013 - Don't worry, it's usually all about where baby is. With our first daughter, I never felt them, not once, and I could see her having them on sonograms! Lol. But this baby has them all the time, so it's a different experience for me.
  • Very normal and should occur, babies neuro development is in full force practicing sending signals to muscles (diaphragm)
  • ^^ that's what my midwife said too. Our boy gets them all the time & she said it's a sign of a neurologically sound person! :)
  • He gets them at least once a day! It makes me laugh. But sometimes lasts for too long :!!
  • Yes! She hiccups a lot, and sometimes when it lasts a while I get kind of antsy... I think she might too because if she's been hiccuping for more than a few seconds, I feel an increase in kicks too.
