I was 17 when I got pregnant, I'm now 18 and my little girl is now 7 weeks old. I've noticed a lot of fussiness throughout the past week or so and have had to give a bottle of formula before bed and have been nursing almost every hour to 3 hours and she doesn't really seem to be satisfied. I've been trying to get my milk supply up by putting her on my breast more often however she seems to fall asleep a lot and then after I've put her down after I've burped her she cries again. I've found bf so hard due to latching problems in the beginning which caused my nipples to bleed and be very badly cracked. They're now better however they are a lot more sensitive so have had to use nipple shields for the past 3-4 weeks and she seems to get along well with them apart from the falling asleep. She has been extremely fussy the past week which I read is down to 'purple syndrome' which is due to growing etc. I know she isn't suffering from colic/wind or reflux. May be down to my diet? I don't know shall try some knew things out and see how I go
