Ads is over 6 months and still has the forever changing eye color....however, most of it is still the newborn gray color. At what age will it pick a color and stick with it?
Almost all babies are born with blue or grey-ish colored eyes. Eye
color will begin to change around 6 months of age and the eyesshould
have turned to their natural color by the baby's first birthday.
DD's eyes were a dark almost midnight blue when she was born. Now they are more of a silver blue. I have blue eyes and DH has brown.
Miss Addie's got pretty eyes Tams... I bet they're the type that kinda changes color depending on the color she wears. I always thought that they settle by a year though.
We've still got the everchanging eye color. But around 14 months, they settled into primarily green- but depending on the day, her mood, etc- blue, gray, brown... But it took until 14 months for us to say with ANY certainty.
I've heard that if you look at them from the side you can see what thier "true" color will be.
I'm no help though - Ben's just kept getting bluer and bluer and bluer. I had no idea that I could possibly have a blue eyed baby since everyone on my side of the family has brown or hazel eyes.
My eyes are hazel (mostly green), and my mom says they didn't completely change until I was about 15 months old. ?Evie's eyes still haven't completely changed yet. ?I think they're going to be brown, but there's still enough grey in them that I wonder if she will end up with some green as well.
Re: Eye color....when does it change?
In my baby class they told us it would be settled by 3 months?
This is what WikiAnswers says:
