First Period After a Loss

Hello ladies. 

First off, so sorry for all the losses (I hope you get your rainbow baby soon) but I was just wondering, how was your first period after you miscarried? I miscarried at 6 weeks but it only measured at 5weeks and exactly a month after, I thought it would be really heavy but I only spotted, and when I would wake up in the morning there was nothing on my pad. I have never experienced this before. The spotting only lasted 3 days. Me and my DH have been having sex soon after the bleed from the miscarriage ended but why was I only spotting? I thought it would be regular AF... I was cramping a bit before it came down, and I'm still cramping a little bit, NOTHING like PMS. I don't know what's going on here... I can't be pregnant so soon right?? Any thoughts? Anything will help...

    TTC#1 since Jan 2015
    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    This is happening to me right now, mc at 6 weeks bled for 5 does, it's now 3 weeks later and I've been spotting for 2 days, never on the pad just when I go to the bathroom

    Thanks for replying! Sorry for your loss...
    I don't know why that happens...It's so confusing! I started cramping now just like before I found out I was pregnant..I wonder!

    So sorry for your loss! I just went through this a week ago! Miscarried at 9 weeks, baby was 6 weeks 1 day. I chose to naturally let the baby pass. Baby passed at 10 weeks. 4 weeks later I hade a very light period. Thought I was pregnant but just had blood work done and it was negative. My doctor said that it's not abnormal to have a light period after a miscarriage.
