Yes sadly with me it got worse and worse. Try a spoonful of mustard hold it in your mouth for a second and swallow.. Give it about a minute and your cramp should ease . Don't ask how it works lol idk but it does !
Me too! I'm 17 weeks & had my 1st HORRIBLE leg cramp about 2 weeks ago. I've added coconut water into my daily routine. It's "nature's Gatorade" and has natural potassium in it. It doesn't taste the best but it's not bad. I was also told it has natural magnesium & that helps with cramps too. I bought a box of it at Costco. (cheapest I found per bottole) I haven't had any cramps since I started drinking at least 1 a day. I have to drink it with a straw & have it really cold. I hope you find what works for you.
My 1st leg cramp woke me up in my sleep & had me in tears. It hurt SO bad! I seriously thought maybe I tore my ACL. And it continued to hurt throughout the entire day & a little in the morning of the next day. It stopped hurting after day 2. I've heard it's normal to be sore after a bad cramp.
Watch out eating a banana everyday! They can constipate you, but are great for leg cramps. Coconut water and Gatorade too as others mentioned.
Forgot about these! My last pregnancy I would have to remember not to stretch in the morning and point my toes because is get a horrible cramp/charlie horse thing!!! Horrible and never had one before that.
