Newbie here! Child/stepchild/adoptive child mentioned

Hi! I'm 38 and a divorced and remarried adoptive Mother of a 19 year old daughter who is pregnant as well as an 11 year old son from my previous marriage, as well as a Stepmother to my husband's son, age 6. My husband is 6 years younger than me and we both came from extremely difficult first marriages. We're crazy in love and really want to have a child together. We've been married now for almost a year and a half. We started TTC on our anniversary, 1/18, so we've not been trying for long. I impulsively stopped taking the pill on that day, mid cycle! We naively thought it would just happen quickly bc it seemed to happen quickly with my son. I've caught baby fever pretty badly! I think I'm catching on pretty quick and started temping last month and started using opk's in Feb. Man are they confusing!

    Anyway, I posted more but I guess it cut me off! So I'm charting on Fertility Friend and recently finished reading TCOYF. So now I'm obsessed with this stuff! Looking forward to getting to know you all! Sorry I'm not savvy with the acronyms...I'll try not to be so long winded next time!

    Welcome! TTC is definitely a crazy, rollercoaster type of journey and yes, it's tough/frustrating/confusing/disappointing when it doesn't happen right away. There are some really great, informative, and supportive women on this site so you'll most likely get plenty of ideas, suggestions and answers to your questions. Best of luck on your journey!
