New to group/ bad day

Hello,
I am 44 and almost 5 weeks pregnant. I have three miscarriages in the past 3 years so getting pregnant is not the difficult part for me. Sticky babies are an issue. There is absolutely no support where I live, can't even get a dr's appt until 12 weeks no matter what. I am just having an awful day today and wanted to reach out. Just needed to hear from someone, anyone?

    Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy!!  I think many of us can relate. :( This is our 3rd child but my 6th pregnancy.  I had 2 early miscarriages and a late loss at 20 weeks.  I sincerely understand the worry and frustration.  I'm sorry that you've had to go through it also.  Have they at least done blood testing to make sure your beta's are doubling the way they're supposed to?  My docs wouldn't always schedule me any sooner than 7-9 weeks but they did blood tests.  Waiting those 48 hours in between draws sucks but at least it gives you some peace of mind when the numbers come back good.  

    I think you'll find this group supportive.  I know I have.  I'm sorry you're having a rough day. :(

    Congrats!!  I'm 46 and have lost 3 previous to this. I very much understand the fear!! I have the same worries sometimes... that it won't stick. But, I can't dwell there.... I don't want to put those thoughts out into the universe (to be a little bit new age/hippy about it, lol). I've been really working on thinking good things. It's the only way I know how to deal with the fears. 

    And I'm sorry you can't get in to see a doctor. Living someplace with so little medical support is frustrating and scary. As niknak1208 said, can you get an appointment for just blood work? That might ease some fears. I know that some women don't even have that available....

    Welcome and congrats!  I am sorry you are having a tough day.  :(

    Is there a planned parenthood near you?  Perhaps you can get in with them more easily.

    Sending good thoughts your way. I find myself worrying as well, I am pregnant after a miscarriage. I know the worries well-sending positive thoughts for all of us here!

    Welcome to you!  I'm so sorry you're having a rough day, and I hope that you will be able to get in to see your doctor soon - or at least get in for some bloodwork, like PPs have suggested.

    hoping you have come to have some peace in recent days. Once you have loss, its really hard to ever feel confident in pregnancy again.  My current dr does not see you before 12 weeks no matter what.  Its frustrating.  THis time I had so much bleeding for so many weeks early on.  But I just had to wait it out till beyond 12 weeks.

    Welcome! I too can relate. We have issues with sticky babies. I know it may sound corny but I heard it on here last year in the PGAL board.... When you are worried ( like who isn't all the time?) just say to yourself " today I am pregnant" I've been trying this when I feel myself start to spiral into doubt and fear and this time around it seems to help. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps!
