ill call my HR just to be sure but I'm in bed rest now..... Does anyone know since I'm in bed rest so early if I can still take the 12 weeks off after they come?
This all really depends on how your employer works. For me I get 15 weeks of sick leave on top of my maternity leave but I know a lot of people don't get that. HR would be the only person who could clear that up for you.
I would think that what you're currently experiencing would fall under more of a disability leave and would not detract from your maternity leave after the baby is born...but like the PP said, I would check with your particular employer.
Check with your employer for what specifically they do. Every company has different policies, so your HR rep is the only one who can give you a good answer to this question.
