Random question

ill call my HR just to be sure but I'm in bed rest now..... Does anyone know since I'm in bed rest so early if I can still take the 12 weeks off after they come?

  • This all really depends on how your employer works.
    For me I get 15 weeks of sick leave on top of my maternity leave but I know a lot of people don't get that.
    HR would be the only person who could clear that up for you.
  • I would think that what you're currently experiencing would fall under more of a disability leave and would not detract from your maternity leave after the baby is born...but like the PP said, I would check with your particular employer.

  • Check with your employer for what specifically they do. Every company has different policies, so your HR rep is the only one who can give you a good answer to this question.
