Lost mucus plug! now back pain.

So at about 8:30 last night I had a bm and lost a huge glob of my mucus plug! I had some mild back ache and a burst of energy. I forced myself to go to bed to be on the safe side. now it's almost 3am, and I have nore, consistent back pain, lots of baby movements, and I'm wide awake. With my DD I lost only a small but of my mucus plug about a week before my water broke. Any other moms experience some thing like this?

    I lost mine last night too. Now I'm in a lot of pain. Maybe some babys today!!!

    Any progress? My a chinese has subsided a little bit, but I just got another burst of energy! the anticipation is so exciting!

    Mine went away too when I took a nap. Now I have to take 2 final exams today. Then I can have him lol.

    Lost mine last night too while at the hospital getting my swelling and BP checked. Had some pretty "good" contractions last night and couldn't sleep much, but woke up today and haven't had much activity yet! Currently 38w 3d, so here's to hoping!

    Lost mine 8 days ago! Had contractions through the weekend but then they stopped! Still pregnant! My midwife says the plug will just "grow back" basically till you're really ready. (Really just loose tiny bits of mucus from here on out.

    Yea i keep seeing this clear sticky substance so im assuming thats the plug in pieces. My first time it just all came out at once when my labor started so this is new.

    Today when i got up a single drop trickled down my leg. Didnt look like my water breaking since it was just a drop so assuming all part of the plug. Hope we are close to the end!

    Sorry for the TMI, did anyone notice a different odor when your mucus plug started to come out? This morning I noticed I had some odd smelling discharge and just had another chunk of clear mucus come out.

    I lost mine like 2 days ago and I never got any back pain or pain of any kind. Just baby in the ribs pain which is awfulllllll.

    My mucus plug was tinged green!! I looked at some photos online and it can be a variety of colours! Mine literally just reminded me of muscus when you're sick ! So gross! Mines been coming out all day in spurts! Last night I could barely sleep because of what felt likenmenstral cramps all night! Any time I lay down the pains happen! I see my OB on Monday so I will know more! I'm 39 weeks today!

    Mines been the same way. I lost a huge glob of it Tuesday, and ever since been continuing to lose more. I saw my OB today and he said it's normal. I'm only dilated 1 1/2 cm which is good For me :) I want him to stay in a while longer. Good luck :)

    Yes I've had the exact same thing. I lost my mucus plug in pieces and ever since I've been having lower back pain and cramps. It sucks but it's manageable so I'm just waiting it out. I feel like if I was going into labor it should hurt more than this!

    I think I lost my plug last night about 10pm and was having period type cramps and then just got woken up an hr ago with pains in my lower back. thought it was trapped wind but now I'm not sure. But it's not coming in waves? The period pains are. I'm 38+2. Labour? Might get in the bath and see if it gets any better. I've tried laying down, and sitting up doesn't seem to stop it hurting lol xx
