Had a good week. Even better weekend. Took the girls to a Razorback spring football game and children's event they held at the college. It was great. Until I fell on my knees trying to go up some bleachers....while carrying our nearly 4mth old in a carrier. It scared her more than anything. And she got a little scratch on her leg. Me on the other hand got a goose egg on my knee but is better today. I am still so sore. Sucks being old! Lol
My favorite relative was my aunt and uncle. Always loved going to their house as a kid. They were just the fun ones of the family.
Proud Mom to Kaleigh (14yr) Emma (12yr) and Hanna (7yr)
Good week, nice weekend. Spent some quality time at the park and had swim lessons with our daughter. Nice weather here in CA so not much to complain about. DH was away on business last night though so I was solo but he is coming home tonight.
@mandyreads sorry about the fall hope you are feeling better
The days (and nights) all run together now. I feel more tired than I did earlier. LO's sleep has been worse lately, plus the sleep deprivation feels cumulatuve, PLUS I forced myself to slow down and don't think I realized how tired I was until then.
My favorite relative was an uncle, by default. Both sides of my family have more black sheep than normal people. He was one of the normal ones, and I saw him more frequently than the other normal people.
DH and I are recovering from tummy trouble. We had been feeling mildly ill for a couple of weeks but couldn't quite figure it out. It turned into full blown food poisoning a few days ago. The culprit was the place we were getting 'healthy' ready meals from. So I'm back to cooking simple things somewhat involuntarily. Glad to be on the mend though!
DS is doing well. He's almost 7 weeks. He's awake more and more and is less freaked out by the world. He's able to play on his own for 20-30 minutes when he's is in a good mood now. It's quite apparent that he's going to be a handful once he's mobile. We're going to have to race to get some bigger projects done (railing, flooring) and make the place baby safe.
I haven't bought a diaper bag yet. I can't seem to decide between backpack and messenger style, and between dedicated diaper bag and fashion bag. I don't know if I'll be carrying DS on my back in a couple of months or not, so that complicates things . I've been using a frumpy tote in the meantime. I hope to decide soon. DH is certainly tired of hearing about it.
QOTW: Each of my two brothers at different stages. I was more of a tomboy and they were always doing fun things. I still have a playful relationship with them. Sadly, I have a nonexistent/bad relationship with my sister.
Week: MH is looking for a new job and has about 5 irons in the fire now. We said no to jobs in NY state and PA bc I just can't see us living there. Now we have a good prospect in GA, OK one in SC, 2 here in town, though prob not as good as the one in GA, and one in state but with a move or long commute... Not sure what we'll do... I've called this place home for so long that I can't imagine leaving. Love our house, neighborhood, friends... Whatever little family we have is here in state.... Not sure what will happen.... Also the idea of a big move is daunting... Hate packing and sorting...esp with 2 small kids...
Fave relative: my sister. To this day. She's 6 yrs younger but even when we were 18/12 respectively we got along great. I wish we could love closer to each other.
We're in a similar situation @harmonicbabe26 . DH is looking for work. He's telecommuted for the vast majority of his career as a software engineer, but that may no longer be possible. We love Houston and want to stay here in the long term. Though not completely out of the question, the thought of a move anytime soon just frightens me!
Hi guys, well Samuel and I have had sinus junk! Ugh miserable:( got antibiotic and cough meds. Hoping Iliana doesn't get it. She is four months today and little shy of 10 lbs when they weighed her:) they are still doing draws For hypothyroidism . No meds yet:) my favorite family member was my dad! I was daddy's girl hands down. I thought he walked on water:) he passed from colon cancer when I was 11. He was my best friend..
Sorry late to the check in. I've been trying really hard to keep us busy and distract myself from our loss. Yesterday my h came home early to let me go get my hair done. I haven't had it cut since October. I decided to get it colored and I'm so glad I did, covering the gray is a nice pick me up.
I'm slowly starting to feel better. I have less moments of sadness now. I'm focused 100 percent on our daughter. She's fallen in love with Hello Kitty so I've been looking for some cute stuff on eBay. I like the authentic Japanese stuff so much better than the stuff they make for the U.S. I want to find some My Melody stuff too. I love having a girl.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

@mattandlora I am originally from Vilonia. It has been one yr since the horrible tornado. We are now down near LR.

Hope things work out for you in any case.
That must've been very difficult losing your dad at such a young age.
