Strong smelling urine

Ok, I know this sounds weird but is anyone else experiencing strong smelling urine? It doesn't smell bad exactly but it's just like a really strong ammonia smell? I'm about 5 weeks and have been experiencing this for about 2 weeks.

Is this normal?!

    It could be you aren't drinking enough water. Or it could be your prenatal vitamins. Did you recently start a new vitamin?

    I do sip water most of the day. I've also been drinking honey and lemon for past few days for sore throat so I think I'm drinking quite a bit of water. Might drink even more to be on the safe side. I've been taking a pregnancy vitamin for about a month. Maybe that's it?

    Funny I actually read something about this just yesterday. For what it says it totally normal. I think it has something to do with your kidneys working over time for the "two" if you.

    Oh that's interesting. Maybe that's why. It just happens on and off but I'm taken aback by how strong it is!

    Its because your kidneys are working harder...and the heighten sense of smell makes it even stronger.
