Bathroom Question

Sorry if this is TMI..I normally go to the bathroom #2 once a day to once every other day. The last couple days it has been every two to three hours. Anyone else experiencing this?

My OB says that it is a good sign to have diarrhea/loose stool. Means that your body is trying to clean itself out, get ready for baby delivery.

The closer you get to delivery, your body produces a hormone which stimulates the bowels. It's normal.

I've been experiencing this too.. Last night I couldn't sleep because well basically my bowels were completely cleaning themselves out and the stomach pain was very uncomfortable. Strange because I'm taking the so much iron supplement right now I have had the opposite problem right along. Had me a bit nervous because this actually happened with my first a few hours before I started regular contractions. Although I woke up this morning and everything was fine. I doubt it's the flu because no one around me has been sick and usually when I get the stomach flu I get hit much much worse. I'm only 35+5 so have a ways to go yet.
