20 weeks and showing with first pregnancy

I'm 20 weeks and I have a big belly bump - strangers have been smiling and saying congratulations.
I'm very petite 4"11 with a starting weight of 102. I've gained about 10 pounds and gradually growing. Since I'm so petite in concerned that my belly is already pretty big and how big it will be by the end of my pregnancy. Any other petite moms who showed early as well?

  • I'm 5,2 and was showing at 10 weeks and have continue steady growth. I've also put on 5kg... I'm only 18.5 weeks. People are so judgy about my size and it makes me more and more nervous and more and more upset everyday

  • I'm 5'3" and was on a year-long fitness kick when I got pregnant. I had been watching everything I ate and exercising nearly every day. My lifestyle shifted instantly and I was in maternity pants at week 10. I still feel like I am more "thick" now than rounded, but the clothes I wear give me the allusion of being round. I'm staying away from flowy clothes until I fill them out more, so that it's obvious that I'm pregnant!
  • I'm 5"1 and started showing around 12 weeks. 18 now and my belly is very noticeable. I'm also concerned that in 22 more weeks im going to be huuuuuge :(
  • Everyone shows at different times. I didn't show with my first until 6 months, but this time around I was popping out at 13 weeks. It's different for everyone. I'm just shy of 5'0" too!!

  • I'm 5'2" and I definitely have a bump! I can't remember when I started to show, but it did seem early. I'm 20 weeks now and have gained 12 lbs. People think I'm like 8 or 9 months!! But I swear I don't look all that much bigger than other moms in our birth club! I'm also worried about how big I'll be by 9 months. I've been trying to be more conscious of what I eat now.
  • I'm 5'3 and almost 21 weeks and have a very noticeable bump now. I popped probably around week 16/17, but I've been wearing maternity pants since week 10 because of the bloat back then! I'm sure my belly will be huge as the due date approaches ... with such a short torso, there's nowhere else for it to go but out! I actually like that I'm showing though ... makes it more real!
  • I'm 5'1", 18 weeks, and I've been showing for about 3 weeks, although my husband and I could see a difference for several weeks before that.
  • I'm 5'5 and definitely showing at 21 weeks. I thought I might be showing too much this far along but my doctor actually measured my belly at my anatomy scan and said my belly was measuring perfectly on schedule :D so that reassured me. Plus, everyone shows in different ways, low, high, round in front or round all over, etc etc. You're showing what's perfect for you and I'm sure you're absolutely beautiful :)
  • I'm 5'3 and definitely showing, my colleague actually asked me if I'm sure I'm not having twins!! My doctor told me I'd show early though because I'm so petite. I just remind myself it's a good thing the baby is growing in there :)
  • Loooove your belly!!!
  • 4'11 here and I'm showing all over. It's frustrating because I feel like I'm bigger on my arms, face and thighs and my belly is huge at 20 weeks. But everyone's different so I'm just rejoicing that I'm halfway there!

I'm 5'4, 21weeks tomorrow & petite build, I've been showing for weeks now & I get loads of congratulations from clients & strangers!! I enjoy it though!! plus I'm currently on a cruise, so it's nice to have an obvious bump to point at to explain that I don't want to go through the body scanners everytime we get back on ship!! ☺️☺️ definately makes me feel closer to my little lady being able to see my bump grow with her!!
  • I'm 22 weeks and have been showing for a while -- really popped at 16 weeks. Someone at work asked "are you sure you're not having twins?!" I also have a family history of big babies -- my husband was almost 11 lbs and I was 10 lbs, so if that has anything to do with it, I may have a big baby in here!
