Re: Sleeeeeepy!!!!!!!!!!! How do you get through your day?

  • Barely lol. But no sometimes I do just a little tea for the caffeine. I also try to go to bed early as much as I can. Try to eat good healthy foods to keep you going. And take a walk whenever you can.

  • Oh man I feel you! My nausea has been at night and I also have vulvodynia and IC that keep me up at night so I am exhausted and can't sleep either. Ugh. Just do the best you can. I consider eating healthy lately to be a salad and baked potato from wendys lol. And walking doesn't happen a lot but I give it my best lol. If you need to take a nap at your desk, just do it lol! You are doing something beautiful and all this is for a great reason! Doesn't mean you should feel sick while doing it though, call your OB for tips too. I want to try to enjoy this as much as I can. :)
  • I have been taking 20 minute naps in my car at lunch because I am so exhausted!! I am only 5w2d and am drained all the time!
  • I used to work 12 hour days and not even 5 hours in I would need a nap. I actually lost my job cause of it :\ starting something new soon and I'm full of anxiety since its only getting worse. I'm almost 8 weeks and aside from constant nausea/hunger/dizziness/sinus migraines I have been sleeping almost 14 hours a day in bits and pieces. This is more rant than ccomfort but you are not alone.

My doctor said by the 2nd trimester i should feel more stable but right now if I'm not eating or throwing up Im sleeping xD
  • Before I realised I was pregnant, I actually went to my doctor complaining of tiredness. At only 4.5 weeks preg, I'm falling asleep all the time. I just hope it gets easier as time goes on!
  • I take a nap as soon as I get home from work and go to bed early! I'm also so nauseous all the time I just go to sleep to make it go away!

That's what I do too! Can't get enough sleep!!

  • I have to check with my doctor next time I go but my b12 sublingual use to be my energy machine. I'm low to begin with. His mom swears I'm anemic, it just I get up every 3 hours to use the bathroom, add to that I work 40+ hours a week
  • I am so exhausted in the morning I feel like I can't get out of bed! And then at night when I lay down feeling so sleepy I can't sleep at all. I know it will get better though so I just try not to kick myself about all the loose ends I'm not tending to at the moment. Laundry and dishes can wait for now!
  • By twelve each day I am sleepy that last up till about four and then I am good.
  • I try to drink lots of cold water, and eat lots of healthy snacks. I would give anything for a nap but I have a 3 year old and I have him when I'm not working. But hopefully this passes soon for all of us!

  • First tri is always like a drunken blur to me, lol, i have no idea how i even made it through last week and i remember nothing.
  • I have two young kids, pregnant with #3, it's exhausting no doubt. When I'm groggy a green apple definitely seems to boost my energy! I don't generally like fruit I'm a huge veggie lover but fruits have really kept me awake & alert !
  • Try eating an apple or drinking apple juice. It works almost as well as caffeine.
  • Thanks ladies I will give it a try... today hasn't been so bad...

  • Coffee for now. I'm chugging it to survive before the aversion hits. I had coffee aversion with DD and it was the worst. I'm hoping it won't happen again this go round.

Otherwise, iced cold water keeps me alert throughout the day.
