so has anybody bought bellabands? and if so from where? i am currently looking since it is getting harder to button my pants up and i really do not want to go buy $50 maternity jeans or shorts. thanks in advance
I have two that I bought from Motherhood/Destination Maternity. I think they were 2 for $25 or $16 each or something like that. They got me through the first 20+ weeks, but I recently bought some maternity jeans. The bands rolled a lot after awhile and it just got too annoying. That being said, Motherhood has sales all of the time, keep an eye out and you can probably get jeans there for much cheaper. There is an outlet store near me too that has a lot of pants on clearance (and they have sale sections in their reg. store too). I know Old Navy has a good selection too, not sure on the price of their jeans, but they too have sales all of the time. If you keep a look out, you can find a steal. If you aren't against 2nd hand, check out thrift shops that specialize in maternity clothing or look on ebay (you can find new on ebay too).
I got a some sort of maternity band (not sure if was Bella specifically) and hated it. Much preferred maternity pants. I never paid anywhere near $50 for any pair of maternity pants. Old Navy and Target have reasonably priced options, plus most baby consignment sales have maternity clothes as well (or you can check Craigslist, eBay, or MotherhoodCloset.com).

I have a Bella band I found at target for $20 and really like it. Although it's getting uncomfortable and I am starting to enjoy maternity pants better, the band is convenient to still wear my pre prego jeans with extra room haha
I got two bella bands off of amazon. I wore them up until a few days (I'm 18 weeks now). They were getting a little uncomfortable, and honestly I felt like they looked funny (they don't like smooth like normal maternity pants). I just switched to full on maternity pants and I'm loving them. So comfortable. Old Navy is good for jeans and I got some work pants on sale at LOFT.
With that being said, they were great for the transition phase when my pants wouldn't button but maternity pants were much too large.
Maybe it's just me but I couldn't stand the bella band. I got the one from Target. The only thing I can think is my shape may be playing a factor here. I am 176lbs and bottom heavy/hour glass figure. I got a big 'ol butt and hips lol. The damn band kept rolling up on me and pants would not stay up. I gave up and just switched to maternity jeans lol.
@danixbanani24 yes! I got one at Target, as well, and it's alright, but keeps rolling up whenever I sit. It IS helping me go a little longer before investing in maternity pants.
Target (via Cartwheel app) has all maternity apparel 20% off til tomorrow 5/2.
thank you so much ladies! I'll be 17 weeks sunday, and i am barely showing but i am getting prepared so when i start getting bigger :0 well believe it or not i paid almost $50 at Elder Beerman (Younkers) three years ago.
