  • 26w1d.  Had an uncomfortable day today - I think my little girl had an arm up under my rib.  When this happened during pregnancy with DD I was usually able to move her.  Unfortunately with two in there getting a baby to move is not so easy.

Given the frustrations of modified bed rest, I made a paper countdown chain with the idea that DD and I could take a link off every morning.  I was hoping it would motivate me but instead the 93 links (until c-section date) are a little depressing to look at.  DD is only 3 and did not quite understand the concept.  When I told her she could take a link off this morning, she said "No mom.  I don't want the babies to come today."  It did make me laugh - so there's the upside.

QOTW:  We put the pricey Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double stroller on our registry.  It's the one really expensive item we selected - but it comes so highly recommended by other moms of multiples and there is a glider board I can attach for DD.  My mom may get it for us, but if not we will buy it ourselves.

  • Hello ladies. Sorry I have not checked in for quite a while. I'll be honest, I was following the PAIF boards at both places (here and the new place) and it was just getting to be too much. Busy with work, life, getting ready for babies. I am marginally active over there, but after toay's check-in, I don't think I'll move onto the 3rd tri check-in here at TB. That being said, I'm glad to see some good updates over here and things are going well for me. 28 weeks today, baby boys are very active and growing well. We had a growth scan today and they're both right around 2.75 lbs. Got a cute 3D picture of Baby B's face. He's always been smooshing his brother, who is also head down, so we never get good pictures of Baby A. QOTW: No real splurges for us. We're going to have to be on a tight budget to afford daycare, so we're keeping expenses low where we can. We are definitely wanting the Joovy Twin Roo + stroller frame, so hopefully family or friends will get that for us off our registry so we don't have to by it ourselves!

  • Hello all! I just found this board and am super excited! Pregnant after three years of MFI! First IVF was a bust due to poor ovarian response! Tried IUI which we knew wouldn't work and lo and behold it didn't! He second IVF was a success!

    EDD: September 5, team blue

    How far along: 22+1

Appointments are mid-month! Going in for ultrasound to check on heart defects and then regular OB a few days later!

We don't really have a splurge item because we haven't even begun to think about our registry! Being FTP we have no clue what we need!

    I am 22 weeks, 5 days.

My splurge will be a handmade mobile made with wool birds and clouds. It's $75 and I wasn't sure if I should spend that kind of money but the earthy theme will be perfect for our nursery.

17 weeks, 3 days. I had an ultrasound today because my OB said he was happy to do one just for fun... And it looks like we have a GIRL! A very, VERY shy girl, who put her hand over her goods after us looking for a good shot for about 5 minutes. At that point, we just laughed and my OB said, "Well, now we definitely can't see anything!" haha :) But we saw absolutely nothing indicative of boy, we just aren't calling 100% certainty yet because she was so stubborn haha. We will find out for sure at the anatomy scan on May 26th. I'm absolutely giddy either way, as we have a HEALTHY baby in there!!!

No real splurges so far... But we plan on buying a rock n play (between $45-75) and I got a new in package Medela Pump in Style with backpack and all (normally about $270) for only $50 at a garage sale. Normally I wouldn't, but it was still in the shrink wrap and everything. The lady said her daughter was going to pump, but got a really bad flu and ended up just going straight to formula, and she didn't keep the receipt. Such a good deal!

  • Hi ladies - I am finally joining you.

    EDD 10/24

    15 Weeks 4 Days

Had my monthly appointment last night and everything looks good.  My maternity21 test results came back inconclusive but we did PGD testing before transfer so we're not going to pursue any additional testing - I wouldn't do anything so I don't see the point.

QOTD: We're going to be buying a new stroller/carseat as the one from DS is really beatup and the carseat is expired!  That will be the biggest splurge.
