  I had fun telling close family and friends in person. Their faces were priceless. We plan to tell social media friends after the first sonogram with a funny picture. We don't know exactly how though.

  I've told most of my close friends and family were just trying to figure out the social media annoucment for everyone else!

  For our immediate family we personalized mugs with their names and new titles. My sister who is already an aunt got one that said "my favorite people call me auntie."
  For my bestie I tucked the sonogram pics inside a new house pamphlet since she wanted to see the houses we were looking at. She opened it up at started screaming. It was great.

  We told my father in law by buying a kids fishing pole and attaching a pacifier to it. (He loves fishing) His reaction was hilarious! He thought we were saying he was bad at fishing, we told him he was going to be a grandpa and he started crying! We told my parents by giving them a pacifier with a note from the baby attached to it. We made an announcement on Facebook using shirts of our favorite college football teams. We have a Miami Hurricanes shirt for my husband a Husker shirt for me and a Husker onesie with a Miami zip up over it for baby.

  It was my husband (and his twin brother) and my brother's birthdays, and we were getting together with both sides of the family separately. We wrote in both cards, how they were great brothers, and will be great uncles too. Luckily, they read the cards out loud, and the reaction was great! I'll just call my friends and tell them, or tell them when I see them. As for my workplace, we have an all departments meeting on the first Friday of every month, so I am going to wait until the first Friday meeting in June to tell them.

  My plan for social media is to hold a peach and the sonogram picture and post something like my baby is as big as a peach...I dont know corny but I think kinda cute

  For our immediate family we announced around a birthday and anniversary, so we gave cards from the baby and had them read it out loud so everyone could hear. We have told a few other close friends in person, using words
  
  I will be doing a Facebook announcement because we have a lot of friends spread out over the country, so that makes it easiest. We have a cute photo planned and hopefully it comes out
