This is my first pregnancy and everyone's been saying how much their baby is moving and how they can feel it all the time. I haven't felt her once anyone else had this? When did you notice your babies movement?
I understand that it's common to take a while before you feel any movement. I'm almost 17 weeks and felt it a couple of times, but that's all. it's not at all what i expected, and I almost wrote them off as 'digestive' feelings. I suspect it's happened more than I'm feeling . I wouldn't panic too much as it's still early.
It is normal. You should consistently feel movement towards the end of 2nd tri/beginning of 3rd tri, like 27 weeks or so. You won't feel consistent movement at 19 weeks, if at all.
Not to worry - I didn't feel movement with my 2nd or current pregnancy until 23ish weeks. I have had an anterior placenta both times. With my first daughter that was not the case, but these past two have. It's frustrating, and a little scary not feeling anything until later, but you shouldn't worry - as it is normal. The doctor will tell you the same! At your anatomy scan, you could ask about your placenta location as well.
With my first pregnancy, I can count on two hands how many times I felt DD kick. She was just a gentle baby. So it's totally normal for you not to feel movement. Sometimes lying very still,& could feel flutters.
Re: Worried, no movement at 19 + 4 any one else had this?
