Yes. It's perfectly safe to take a bath. The real danger would be being in water that raises your body temperature. So if you're extra cautious, no super hot baths. Hot tubs are a big no, because they maintain their high temps. No saunas either.
The tl,dr is that it's unsafe for you to become over heater. Hot tubs are typically out because they keep circulating hot water while baths cool down. You are also typically more exposed in a bath as opposed to a hot tub.
ETA: I really enjoy taking baths and it helps my back pain, but I keep a thermometer in it to monitor the temp and make sure it never gets too hot.
Not to overshare but it is just too funny. As I read this, I am soaking in a nice warm bath! Haha. When I saw my OB last week, he told me baths are fine as long as they aren't so hot you have to ease into them and that you aren't so hot that you start to sweat. He said as long as it doesn't start out too hot baths are fine because you aren't usually fully submerged so your body is still able to regulate temperature. Also he said the water cools as you sit in it so that also helps ensure your core body temp doesn't get too high. So enjoy!
