Baby Boy A

My husband and I are having a difficult time deciding on a first name for our baby boy. We know the middle names will be James William. Care to check out our short list below and offer suggestions??? Please! :)

- Paxton (Pax)
- Gabriel (Gabe)
- Lincoln
- Jonah
- Liam (we would just have James as the middle name rather than James William if we chose this name)

Thanks so much for any and all suggestions!!!

    May I suggest editing this, so you aren't telling everyone your last name. You may never know who is looking on this board. Earlier in the year we already had an experience with a "cat fish". :)
    I like all of your choices! Maybe you can wait until he is born so you can place a name with a face.

    I love the name Jonah. Liam is really cute too but I feel like these days it's so common!!! Paxton I've only met girls named Paxton so that ruins that one for me. All cute names though! Good luck!

    Just curious: what is the reason for the two middle names? Just my opinion, but James William or William James (could even call him Jay or Will fir short) have its own ring to it. :)

    We are naming our son William and calling him Liam, so I'm kind of partial to it. But I also love Jonah and Lincoln.

    William James, nn Liam, would be great. Then if there are lots of boys named Liam around (likely as it's very popular!) you can go with another nn if you/he wants. Plus, I don't like your other names ;).

    I'm a fan of names that you don't hear that often and aren't as popular. Lincoln and Paxton are great name. Liam is too popular for me.

    For us, we decided on Braydon James :)

    I like Jonah, but I've never personally been a fan of two middle names (I myself have two and I just think it's excessive)
    Jonah William has a nice ring to it.

    Thanks for the replies/suggestions! We chose James and William as two middle names because they are both family names but we didn't necessarily want them as first names. However, Liam made it the top of our list so if we went with that name we decided we'd just name him Liam James or William James and call him Liam. Thanks again for all the suggestions! Baby boy is due the beginning of June so not too much longer to go!!! Can't wait to be able to post about his birth and the name we've finally chosen for him :) Good luck to all of you other mommies!

    I have a William Joseph, but have always called him Liam. It is a solid choice, and if you can eliminate one of the middle names, it will be easier to learn.
