Bassinet Stroller

Has anyone used one? I didn't have one with my first but a friend did and I think my LO would have like it. She haaaaaated the car seat for at least 6 months so i didn't bother using the travel system stroller much. In any case, I'm thinking about getting a bassinet stroller this time. But I'm wondering if the useful life is too short to be worth it? I feel like by 4,5,6 months or so s/he will want to be upright. And my first will only be 19 months, so maybe I need a double too. Perhaps something like this:

Anyone have that? With the bassinet accessory?

Re: Bassinet Stroller

  • I have the Uppa baby vista and my baby loves the bassinet. She hated her car seat too which is why I got this and it is able to be a double stroller so it kind of worked out perfect for us

  • A good version of getting the bassinet without spending too much is the Urbini baby stroller. It's $199 at walmart and includes the Carseat. The seat portion can turn into a bassinet, and then be turned back into a seat. It can face outside or inside. Also you can take the whole seat off and just snap in the carseat if this baby likes it.
  • I haven't used one- as this will be my first but check out Stokke. They have an option to make it a double stroller. You can use a car seat with it as well.
  • I have the bumble ride indie with the bassinet attachment . Both my girls loved it.
  • I have not had the chance to use the basinette attachment, but I do have the city select, and love it!  I have a 10 month old and a 6 year old, and the 6 year old rides the wheelie board on back.  If our baby does not like the car seat, I will get the bassinett.
  • Yes! We used it and LOVED IT! Easy to move around and change from stroller to bassinet stand. We traveled when she was 3 months old and with the VISTA travel bag we packed the bassinet and.she her sleeping routine stayed the same while we were away.
  • I have graco's click connect 3 in 1 travel system and it has bassinet attachment that you can remove. Dd slept in that fully reclinable bassinet so often! It was a lifesaver!!!!
