Wetness...

Good morning ladies!

To start, I will be asking my doctor this morning about this, but I just wanted to ask everyone on here first so I don't look silly at my appointment (again)... And I apologize if it's TMI...

Is anyone else ALWAYS wet? I feel like sometimes I accidentally pee a little (which isn't totally out of the realm of possibility... I pee when laughing, crying, sneezing, well.. Basically all the time)

My worry is that it's my waters, but I've been tested and checked by my doctor numerous times because I keep asking her at each appointment. I just don't remember being this wet with my other two kiddos (which could be why I'm so wet... Popping them out caused incontinence? YAYYY depends)

So any other mommies feeling wet at all hours of the day?

Completely normal. Just get pantyliners and change them often .

My under wear is always soaked I have to change my undies 3× a day!! Im pretty sure its a lil bit of discharge a lil bit of urine and a lot of sweat iv put on liners and they get all bunched up when wet. Awful!! X_X

Yep that was my first pregnancy symptom... Have worn panty liners all through my pregnancy. Very normal.

Consider cloth liners. I find them more comfortable and they are washable. Also a little more absorbant.

I have had a lot of discharge and wetness during this pregnancy and I am so sick of that feeling! I have to wear panty liners pretty much all the time. If they have checked you and it's not your waters then unfortunately this is just one of the fun symptoms.

It's not just you!! I don't know what the heck is happening down there! I'm pretty sure it's sweat and discharge. I'm going to switch to pads soon. Panty liners aren't cutting it!

To help with sweat I have been putting baby powder around my lady parts (but not in them) and under my butt cheaks for years!! It helps with the sweating and gives you a clean feeling.

I always have to wear panty liners. I believe it's completely normal. I asked one of the midwives that I saw at a previous appointment and she acted like it was no big deal. So I just slap a panty liner on and go about my day. I experienced my first peeing while sneezing the other night

and then I sneezed again about a minute after and did it again, good times X_X

I agree! Panty liners all day!!!! Sadly, I think I'm to the point in my pregnancy that's panty liners just aren't cutting it anymore. Maybe I should check out the pee pads! "Snissing" is always a good time too. Ah, the joys of being pregnant

It's terrible, isn't it?! I have to wear panty liners and whenever I go out I always make sure I have a spare pair of undies because even a little sneeze or cough causes me to pee... even if I've just peed a few minutes before! I'm hoping that things will go back to normal (as much as possible) after the birth of my second in June.

I also thought I'd mention that after a dr appt where they did an internal exam I kept feeling wet and had to change my panty liner several times within a couple hours after the appt. I thought maybe my water was slowly leaking so went back into the dr and (after a nurse tested and determined my water hadn't broken) my dr mentioned that a lot of times the lube they use for internal exams can slowly leak out for a little while after exams and that's probably what it was.

Wrote about this in length on the weekend symptoms thread.

Always had a little discharge, but yesterday fully emptied my bladder and stood up and felt like I peed a little. 3pm

Put in a pad to monitor smell and color and see what happened over the next couple of hours.

7 pm Pad was a little wet, colorless and odorless. Little slimy feeling. Called on call dr, and hour later she's telling me come to hospital.

9 pm I find out since babies breech, and my water ruptured, in getting steroids in the butt and this baby is coming in 2 days.

Would have been a slow leak all weekend if I hadn't called!

Better safe than sorry and get those bags packed! I had just finished mine earlier in the day.

Oh and ps, no pain or contractions, not dilated at all and my cervix is closed. BPs been running high and it is coming ready or not. Thank goodness we'll find out the gender soon and it can be a he or she!

My hubby keeps saying "oh we can wait till later" to do things-- and I keep trying to tell him, "this is the home stretch... this baby is making the rules and he will come whenever he wants to now..."

Seems like a good week to finish up all the last minute stuff and to get the hospital bag started!

Meanwhile my husband was refused to move any more baby furniture until my bag is packed, lol. First time dad brain!
