Strange grunting at 5 months

Hello!

My baby is now 5 months and has started grunting very often. I'm wondering if this is normal? Here's a video I recorded of him making these noises.

    Sound like maybe he is trying to talk.

    My baby makes all sort of weird grunts (similar to the one on the video) and other weird sounds with her tongue, mouth (and the nasally part of her throat)--it appears to me that she is experimenting with what sounds she can make.
