Trouble going to bed

My LO (6 months) is putting up a fight at bed time all of a sudden. She would normally go down pretty good, the odd night it would take longer. For the past couple of nights she doesn't want me to leave the room. She would turn towards the front of the crib putting her arm up for me to pick her up. I would pick her up console her and put her back down.. For an hour this would happen. Anyone dealing with this or have any tips?

    I noticed around 6 months that our twins wanted to cuddle more at bedtime. We started their bedtime stuff a little earlier - bottle, baby food, bath - and then just hang out cuddling for about 15 minutes before bed now. They seem to need that closeness before bedtime so maybe that's what yours needs? Read stories, talk about the day and the next day, sing, anything calming. Sad to say it, but they won't always want to cuddle with us! Good luck.

    Thank you for the reply! I've been sticking with a bedtime routine now for the past couple of months (bath,bottle,book) seemed to be going well until recently. She does seem to want to cuddle more..or more attached lately. Definitely putting up a fight, wondering if it's teething or just a phase. Agree about the not wanting to cuddle soon! I should just take all I can get lol
