We're buying a house!

So, ladies, after house hunting on Sunday, fiance and I decided to bid on one of the nine houses we saw.  The seller countered with an offer and we all agreed to terms.  So, pending a home inspection, we'll be moving at the end of May ... just when I am about 33 weeks prego!  

We really didn't think things would move this quickly, and had hoped to stay in our current living situation (as bad as it has been sometimes) until early fall so we could put away some extra money.  But, we saw something we liked and knew that we could make it work financially, so we pulled the trigger!  I am so excited that I will be able to set up Chloe's nursery before she arrives.  :)  And, I am also happy that fiance and I will have a few weeks to live together alone before baby comes.

We haven't told sis yet, but she is going to the ball game tonight with fiance tonight and he is going to tell her.  I think she will be a little surprised as we had said we hoped to move in the fall; but, I think she'll get over it. I know it will be a little tougher on her financially, but she'll get by.  Plus, I think she will eventually embrace the opportunity to make the place her own now.

    Fiance drove her by the house.  According to him, she snorted and said, "Looks small."  Typical.

    As the night went on (they went to the baseball game while I had a class at work), they talked about how we'll all have to adjust our spending and lifestyles.  He said she was trying to be nice, which I guess is good.  I have to admit that I felt a little guilty initially, but I got over it rather quickly.  After all, we are all adults here.  

    I know it will be fine in the long run, and I am hoping that it will improve our relationship.
