  I had it when I was 12 also in 2003. I had titanium rods put in down my entire back. My OB just told me they would have to look at the xrays to see what my options would be when I give birth.

  Me too! Also due in november!!!! I had the same surgery when I was 12 in 1998. I brought this up with my doctor at my first appt, and she kind of brushed it off like it was no big deal! I think its something that is a pretty big deal and I want to be prepared, and wasnt very comfortable with the way the dr acted. I am planning on contacting the surgeons office who did my surgery to see what they say

  Yes, when I was 13. I was not able to have a spinal or epidural when delivering my daughter. Too much scar tissue. I delivered naturally. If a C-section would have been required, I would have needed general anesthesia.  If you have recent x-rays of your fusion, take them to the hospital with you.

  I had scoliosis surgery when I was 13. I am now 21 due with baby number 2 in November. I had rods placed in my back. I delivered naturally with epidural. Everything went smooth and had a quick delivery, hoping it will with baby number 2. Good luck!
