Sharing "spotlight"

my cousin just told me she's pregnant too! She's due November 10th! :) she was so worried I would be upset because I'm already pregnant and she didn't want to steal any attention but I do not care! Our family is huge there's so many little ones around! I cannot wait for ours to be born so they can grow up together just like my cousin and I did! It's going to be great!!!! I wish her the best, she got pregnant so soon...she's only known the Dad for 3 months! Thats a bit nerve racking but I wish her all the best! I was a single mom once ( she's still with the guy ) and I told her no matter what happens, happily ever after or not, she will be GREAT! I am so excited I had to share with you ladies.... another addition to our fam!

    That's awesome! I have a huge, close extended family and at this point it seems that we always have at least one person pregnant at all times! Congrats!

    My cousin and I were both pregnant at the same time with our first (due exactly a month apart) and we are due two months apart with this one!

    It's so much fun!

    That's so exciting! I wish I had someone close to me to share this experience. My cousins wife is due in June but they live halfway across the country.

    My niece is 19 days younger than my daughter. My in laws are constantly comparing the girls! It drives me nuts! Glad to see your family doesn't really have that issue! Congrats on having someone to share this journey with!

    My twin sister "pulled the goalie" and I really hope it happens soon!  I am with you - I don't care about sharing the spotlight, but having cousins close together (we also live only about 10-15 min apart) would be amazing!

    Congrats to you guys! That's exciting.

    My family is very close and I had to tell my cousin (who's been trying since September) that I'm pregnant again with number 2 ( I have a 10 month old). I was afraid she was going to be upset, but she was excited and wonderful about it.
    Wish we were pregnant at the same time. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news soon!

    I just found out my SIL is also expecting. She's due about 6-7 weeks after me. I'm over the moon excited to have someone to share the experience with.

    I was so excited to find out that my favorite cousin is due the same week as I am. We found out the same day, during the same hour. My husband also has two cousins with babies due close to ours (one in September and one in October). As none of our siblings are ready to start families anytime soon, second cousins will be the only ones our baby will have as playmates family-wise. We're very happy to be sharing the spotlight with our cousins and welcoming so many babies into our family this fall.

    This is the second time my sister in law and I have been pregnant together. She's due about 3 weeks before me. One of my cousins is also having her first in the beginning of August. It's all so exciting!

    One of my dear friends just found out her sister is really early in her pregnancy and I consider her sister part of my family, I'm excited for them.

    Me and my first cousin found out we are the exact same and both made 16 weeks today. She has two kids so that helps with being able to ask questions and I'm so happy my kid will have someone to grow up next to

    Thats so great that baby gets a cousin!!

    The night we announced we were pregnant to my in laws, we decided to call my brother in law and his wife and surprise them as well! Well, the same day we told DH's parents, we Google Hang-out with his brother and sister in law and they announce they just found they were pregnant too about 24 hours ago......

    Sure, at first I was like SERIOUSLY!!??? (They've NEVER wanted children, and decided about 2 months ago that they do) But after a couple of weeks I realized that my baby will have a cousin!! My Best friend is my cousin!! We're not super close to them but maybe that'll make us closer?

    That's awesome! I have a friend of ours due the month before me and another just announced shes due the month after! I think it's so cool because it's nice to have someone currently going through the same things as you. You can get advice from moms of course, but someone that is in your shoes, right now, is so helpful IMO.

    My sister is 6wks ahead of me. Im very excited to have my baby have a cousin growing up. I didnt have that experience growing up, all my cousins were atleast 10yrs younger than me. She only love 30min away, so that will be great. I do just hope my family keeps the comparisons to a minimum. We are 22months apart in age, I'm older,
    and as kids we were treated more like twins so I hope everyone will realize we are different people and our pregnancies will be different.

    It was a little tough at first bc my husband and I were trying for almost a yr and my sister conceive on the first try and since she is younger we got a couple "they beat you to it" comments which was a little hard to swallow since we were trying for so long. But, now that our family knows about both of us I think it will be a lot of fun being pregnant together.
