"I can't believe how mean ladies on some other boards can be. I understand completely how difficult it can be to get BFP, BELIEVE ME! But, I don't think it justifies an all-out flame fest when a simple question was asked. Esp since I steered clear of the BOTB, Trouble TTC and boards of the like.

Sad.

I XP'd my same posting here and on "Getting Pregnant"... sue me!"

That was her comment about BOTB, then if you read the other responses they talk about BOTB.

Eh I'd say it's fairly well known that we don't sugar coat things over here. I think she was pretty smart to steer clear of this board if it was a question about knowing her ovulation time without charting. (I didn't read her OP, so I'm using context clues to guess at what she was asking.) Not everyone can handle the way we tend to give advice and it sounds like she knew she couldn't handle that type of tough love which is why she posted on GP.

If anything I'd be more offended if I was a regular on TTTC. That is one of the nicest boards on this site and in the time I spent posting there I don't think I saw ANYONE flamed unless they really brought it on themselves.

I don't care if they say we are biitchy (if you can't take the heat, go sit on your rainbow), but I'm tired of hearing it blamed on infertility bitterness. I am plenty freaking fertile, got KU on my first cycle much to my surprise, so clearly MY biitchyness has nothing to do with fertility issues. I'm biitchy for the same reason most of you are - because we are smarter than everyone else - pregnant or not. We are who we are, whether we tried for a week or a year, whether we've suffered tragedies in pregnancy or in our lives or not at all.

(This should be read with humor, angst, and a bit of survivors guilt)

Yeah, I agree. I don't really have it in me to flame anyone, even if I think horribly snarky things in my head, but prior to my m/c it made me very angry when I saw biitchiness blamed on infertility. It made me very, very angry.

I think I might go apeshiit if I see somebody say that now. That's the lowest blow imaginable.
