My back hurts, I'm tired, and I think I have nasal drip or something going on... Feels a little bit like I have a coating of yuck in the back of my throat, its causing me to feel like I need to cough or clear my throat. Hope this doesn't mean I'm getting sick, bleh. Also, last night I had a headache come at me all of a sudden and hang around on only one side of my head. I massaged my head for about an hour and it faded some, then took some Tylenol before bed and so far seems to be OK today. It was just really weird
Got my TDAP yesterday, so my arm is sore, it's odd because it feels like I lifted heavy weights with that arm yesterday and not the other. It makes me feel lopsided. The heartburn/reflux has really picked up over the past week so I might try something else to see if I get any better results than the Zantac. It's not lasting me through the night anymore. I did sleep for four hours straight before having to pee, though, so that was glorious!
lol, lady, why did you start a whole thread about them rather than leaving that here? i'm booping your bump at that, because my symptom today is crankiness. :-) I am also due June 5 and have them. I am lucky that they don't really bother me most times, though I sometimes feel them getting bigger when I am walking or when LO gets hiccups. Taking a bath helps, and wiping with medicated wipes rather than TP.
My bump is expanding with each breath. It aches all over. My coworkers are all commenting on my rate of growth now, which is very validating because they are so kind about it. LO is really moving, which I like even though it's not always super comfortable.
I've had them my entire life thanks to an irritable bowel, you'll live. Wait to push until your #2s are actually ready, it's one of the most common mistakes people make. There really should be no such thing as an hour in the bathroom to take a shit. Anyways, I have more advice, but if you really can't handle it, ask your OB if it's okay to use Tucks or ointment. Also, don't type hemorrhoids into Google Images. Just don't.
Feeling so tired today that my eyes hurt, it's my Friday, but after work I have an hour of fetal monitoring which on one hand it's nice getting to hear LO's HB and on the other hand I don't think I will ever be a fan of being hooked up to a bunch of machines. So in the meantime, I will fatten myself up and if I'm lucky I will get to nap.
Well I posted a few weeks ago about a redness that was around my ankles and creeping up the front of my legs. I just left the dermatologist. She called it something that I can't remember, but basically it's a pregnancy issue. Basically some tiny blood vessels on the surface burst, causing skin to look red. It may or may not go away after delivery. I'm REALLY hoping it does! Other than that feeling good. I'm off work today due to doctors appointments, and it was nice to just relax this morning! I have so much pressure on my bladder. We have an ultrasound this afternoon and I can't wait to see his position in there.
Also, he's consistently measured a ahead since week 13 so if that's the case today I totally plan on starting a whole new thread wanting to know why my due date didn't change since he's measuring big. Please don't blow my mind by telling me I might not deliver on that exact date....
ETA: the dermatologist did tell me to get compression hose but I leave in Texas and its freaking hot, so that's probably not happening...
Experiencing the clogged ear thing that someone posted about yesterday - I think @Emilywooddesign. Not fun! Will ask my doctor tomorrow to check that it's not wax build up.
Other than that just a normal day, which for me means achey hips and a very active LO!
ETA Oh, also, crankiness. I went to the bookstore at my school after class today to get my brother a track and field shirt for his birthday since he's hoping to get a scholarship to my school for that in a few years. When I asked the sales clerk if he could tell me where I could find track shirts, he said, "I could," and then instead of telling me where they actually were in the store, he stood there smirking at me like he was the smartest/funniest guy out there for coming up with that. Responses like these are irritating to me under normal circumstances, but since I'm cranky today I think I gave him a dirtier look than I normally would have... whoops. Anyway, he did eventually show me the shirts (after making a comment about how he "tries to inject humor into his interactions" *major eye roll*) and it all ended well. But yeah, crankiness is a definite thing for me today. No sense of humor for this pregnant lady, I guess.
I also want to add that my allergies are blowing up the past couple of days. Mad nose itch, snot nose, kleenex use. Its one of the reasons why I went bonkers cleaning and dusting and vacuuming so much on Tuesday - which didn't help with the allergies at all. Even tho I just went pee about 30 minutes ago, I totally just snissed (TMI, sorry, but I'm really tired of sneezing) :-q
Sleeping is becoming uncomfortable for me, so I'm jumping on the bandwagon for that one. This morning I was so tired (and evidently DH was too, probably from my incessant moving) that we both turned off our alarms and woke up an hour late for work...well crap! Also, my pelvis feels like it is being split in half...gah!
Had my weekly OB appt and NST this am. BP still high so we have been scheduled to induce in 4 weeks from today, unless they start to improve. Looks like my June baby will be a May baby now!
Last night was a little rough. I had a hard time getting to sleep because I was so peeved at DH and his crankiness. We had a nice chat today, but that didn't help with the insomnia last night. Anyway I was sick of just laying in bed stewing so I moved to the guest room. Finally got to sleep around 1. Tired today, but managed to finish organizing the office. It was a freaking disaster and a years worth of filing to do. Can you say procrastination?! LO has been stretching and pushing in there. Great to feel her moving, but it's hard to bend over or catch my breath.
@teather5 I'm sorry to hear you may have to be induced in just 4 weeks. Hope BP returns to normal and you can cook a little longer. Keep us posted on the good vibes thread.
I STILL have a headache. Fioricet isn't helping at all. I'm still coughing up a storm and peeing just about every time. And, of course, the usual lower back and hip pain. I feel like such a why drag, but I am sooo over this!
I started a whole thread on this and was told others were suffering here as well. Luckily, I still have some witch hazel wipes from after giving birth to my first little one... Yeah, they were pretty awful then too.
Can't sleep! Constant peeing, also heartburn to the max. Can't forget the ridiculous stretching feeling that makes me feel like I'm going to explode. I'm ready for June 1st! Glad to hear I'm not alone in this
@ngaines27 ahh! I'm so sorry the fioricet isn't helping. The regular does nothing for me as well.... I have to have the fioricet w codeine. Maybe ask if u can switch to that?!

Have you tried acupressure against your browbone? If you press under the browbone but above your eye, I've found it can give some relief. I hate headaches and migraines. :-( Glad it's faded!

Or percocet? It's harder to get at pharmacies sometimes, but doesn't contain codeine if your doc is weird about that. Are you having rebound headaches or is the fiorcet just not taking any pain away? :-( I'm so sorry.
