When did labor start naturally?

I'm 35w4d with di/di twins. Today, we planned for an induction at 37w5d. I'm curious to know when I could expect it to happen naturally. I've read it is usually before 38w. I suspect it could happen sooner for me, and I'd prefer to avoid the induction, if possible.

So, when did it happen for you, if no induction or planned C section?

My water never broke, I was waiting around for it to break actually because I made it to 37 weeks. I went in for ultrasound and was told my c section would be that night (Baby B wasn't moving much). From all the reading I did the last few weeks, 35-36 weeks is when most had water break/delivery.

  • 38w5d. I did not want an induction and there was no medical need for one, so my doctor let it happen naturally.
