Switching obgyns at 37 weeks

Having a hard time finding someone else that will take me on this late in the game. Any tips? Anyone else going through this?

  • Unfortunately, no advice. Just wanted to wish you luck!

  • Don't know where you are located, but I would assume if you tell a doctor you do not have a current OB they would kind of have to take you if their schedule allowed. I'm not sure though. I switched with my first baby at 30 weeks and that was a pain so I wish you luck

They don't have to take you, but somebody will.
  • Maybe call a hospital where your insurance is covered and you think you might give birth, and ask about their ob-gyns? One of them will end up delivering you anyway if you end up going into labor before you find a doctor, so maybe it will be easier to get one to agree to see you once or twice before that happens. Good luck!
