  • 20w3d and this kid is sucking the life out of me lol. So hard to adjust to feeling like you're running at maybe 50% of your normal energy! Don't have any tips, I just try to take it easy when I can :/

  • I'm 22 and was pretty active before pregnancy but now I can barely manage walking at work :/
  • Tired sometimes is normal but 'all the time' could be low bp or iron?

I'm so tired that I don't even want to get up in the morning lol I really love my bed I-)
  • Same here! I feel mentally exhausted and physically! It feels like my whole body has no energy. I'm having blood tests done tomorrow xx
  • I'm 22 yrs old with normal blood pressure and 20weeks and I have zero energy. I could live in my bed. I'm not getting the best sleep though so maybe that's a factor?
  • I go back and forth! It seems like every time I have a busy day (act like I'm not even preggo) I pay for it with two days of naps and yawns and heavy lids! I wonder "oh my gosh why am I so tired?" And then I remember "oh ya I worked 10 hours yesterday." It's just hard to keep a normal pace- so maybe we shouldn't? Step it back a notch?
  • No I don't think it's a age thing Iam 24
And I feel so tired when I wake up
Iam half asleep right now and it's 9:27am in California
I wish I could go back to sleep
My feet and back have been hurting and I just get so tired and sleepie and cranky Iam 20 weeks I thought by now I would have a little more energy
  • I'm 29 and 20 weeks and I'm soooo tired! I told my husband yesterday that I think the 2nd trimester burst of energy thing is a lie! (Although i know some women really get it) I definitely feel better than my first trimester but what burst of energy? Good thing I have flexible hours at work to catch some extra sleep!
  • YES.  I can barely keep my eyes open these days.  Hope we all get some energy soon.

  • Me too!!  Everyone kept telling me how I would feel like a new person in my second trimester but i swear im just getting more and more tired.  It doesnt help that I have had weekend conferences in different cities and have worked three weeks straight, but i didnt think i would be this dead.  It literally took me all day to do a piece of work that would normally take an hour.  I might have to give my boss a gift after i deliever.

  • I was super tired and sick until about 17 weeks. I'm 18 weeks now and wake up after only 4 hours of sleep :/ it's good because I have energy and actually want to clean! I'm just waiting for the crash...
  • I wil be 21 weeks tomorrow. Between a full kitchen remodel we have had to move out of, chasing a 2 year old, a DF who works 7 days a week 2nd shift so he can't help me do anything. I have a 9 year old who helps me with things that she can. The only thing that gets me through the day is nap time for the 2 year old. We both sleep for 2 hours. Then I am out by 9 pm very night and get up when the 2 year old wakes up. I'm exhausted all the time. We are staying at my in laws house on their second story and walking up the steps to our floor makes me exhausted. Speaking of which it's nap time now.
  • Omygoodness me too!! I am taking flaradix which is an herbal iron supplement and it it helping...when I remember to take it!!!
  • I have had some consecutive good days finally! But today it hit me! I really pushed myself this week to make sure I did everything I said I was going to do for work, school and home stuff and I'm paying for it! I've been such a crab all day. Didn't help.tjat I had had a massive headache for about 6 hrs either. I feel much more coherent than in 1st trimester. That seems like a foggy blur to me now. I'm 32 AND JUST can't do what I used to.

    Does this supplement constipate you?
  • Same! I went to bed at 7.45pm last night.
  • I need to try that. I'm desperate to take anything at this point.
  • I am 20 weeks and could literally live in my bed if that were reasonable! I'm 31, in excellent health, all blood tests were fine. I'm pretty sure this second trimester energy burst thing is a lie LOL. Glad to know it's not just me :)
  • 20 wks and 36 yes old, 3rd baby and Im always exhausted! Baby is healthy though.
  • Tired = me. All the damned time. I wanna stay home in bed all day long. And being on my feet at work makes it even worse.
