18 weeks on Friday, and while I can feel where baby is most mornings or when I'm lying flat on my back ("baby" being the hard lump that is my uterus), tummy is still as flat as it ever is. Granted, that translates to some abdominal pudge, but that was there before baby. While I'm not seriously concerned, having heard a heartbeat at 16 weeks and not having any indication that anything is wrong, I do have to ask: where in God's name is baby hiding in there?? My friend laughed and said baby is working hard at rearranging my organs right now, haha. Hopefully that's the case, cause I'd love to not have people look at me like I had three heads when I tell them I'm 4 and a half months pregnant! I'm telling you, though: my anatomy scan in two weeks can't come soon enough!

Re: Still Waiting...Patiently...for my Bump
Some of my family will touch my belly and say 'you're getting a belly', and I don't correct them because I know they're just excited, but when I'm naked, I look exactly the same and my belly has not grown much, if at all. I know stuff is happening on the inside, so I'm just trying to enjoy fitting into my regular pants for a few more weeks! Hope belly pops soon though :-)
I bet if we revisit this conversation in a few months we'll be eating our words!!

But still, I am not fitting regular clothes well and not fitting maternity clothes well.
My husband jokingly says it best...points to bottom of stomach and says "baby" and then top of Pudge and says "belly"...
I just want my b bump to connect into a d...and for people to be able to tell I am pregnant. That is all
