Polyhydraminos?

im 38 weeks today and at my check up my doctor informed me that my amniotic fluid is measuring high past few ultrasounds. Has anyone ever dealt with this before?

    My friend used to say she had that,the only side affect sh had was a bigger pregnancy belly.

    I did with my daughter and I do with this one. Both times it has made it difficult for baby to drop. With my daughter she flipped during labor when my water broke because of the force and her not being in the birth canal at all. With that said, the severity really depends on how high your AFI is. With my daughter I was at 26.4 or 24.6, I don't remember...

    They checked me for this yesterday. I don't have it. It just means its above 25. It is supposed to be at its highest between 34 and 36 weeks and dwindle. It can be caused by a number of things including g/ d. Just ask your ob about more info and what exactly your levels are.

    I am going through this right now and am really worried. They informed me my last ultrasound (elective 3D) was borderline high. I have a repeat ultrasound on Tuesday next week. Am 36 weeks Saturday. PM if you want.
