how does Eros sound to everyone? I really like it as its strong and soft at the same time, but afraid people might judge wrongly

I actually love Eros. Never heard it before but it's exotic and different while stil being simple and pronounceable.

Out of the two, Ruslan is better. It's not my style, but I wouldn't judge it. It's a real, normal name with a decent background and meaning. I also like Russ as a nickname. Eros sound more like a pet name to me. It's a Greek god - and not a strong/manly one. It's essentially Cupid, which I find to be a weird thing to name your child.
