Baby NOT dropped yet?

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and keep seeing posts about baby dropping. My little man is still super high and while I don't want to go into labor tomorrow I'm getting nervous bc he hasn't dropped. I talked to my doula about my concern and assured dropping doesn't mean anything in relation to labor starting or not starting. I'm feeling like I'm falling behind. Has anyone else NOT had their baby drop?

    38+4 and still haven't dropped, or lost my mucus plug. I keep saying I think he will need to be evicted! These babies have to come out one way, or another. For now I've been taking this time to get everything in its place before baby decides to arrive. I need a few more days if my boy would be so kind. [-O<

    My daughter never dropped, I never lost my plug, never dilated. We were induced at 40+3. Totally know the frustration!

    I had my last appointment today before my induction next week and my baby hasn't dropped yet either. It never happened until I was in labour with my other 2. Don't worry about it. Your doulas right, it doesn't mean anything in relation to labour starting.

    37+6 days and my LO hasn't dropped either even though it feels like it. I was a lot nervous about it myself. Glad to know I am not alone. These LO'S don't want to come out I see.

    Im 36 weeks and 2 days and my bbys was turned dwn now he turned bak up nothing to worry bout my doctor said he will turn wen he is ready but yeah i feel the same like u like if im going backwards instead of forward jijiji

    I'm 38w2d and my baby dropped over night. I can tell mostly BC I can barely see my belly past my boobs now

    I'm 37 weeks and 2 days and I haven't had my baby drop either. Doctor doesn't act concerned though, so I figure it will happen eventually! I also haven't lost my mucus plug either...

    I haven't dropped either and I'm 37 weeks today. I read that sometimes it doesn't happen right until labor starts. The only signs I've had of possible impending labor is some cramping on Friday.

    I haven't dropped. This is my 5th baby and I have not dropped until active labour with the other 4. It's common for for 2nd babies and beyond to not drop until labour. I usually don't dilate or efface until active labour either. My labours have been as quick as 4 hours and as long as 8. So not really a reliable indicator for some of imminent labour.

    I don't know. I couldn't tell when it happened last time, either. Not until my OB did a cervical check and told me. I don't know how people notice! There's a big belly taking up basically my entire torso and it's still there.  :-j

    37w5d now and she hasn't dropped. I can't breathe when I eat so I'm kind of hoping she does soon! Lol I'm not worried though.

    Thanks for all the great replies. I don't feel alone anymore. Oddly enough today started with a ton of pressure deep in my pelvis. It feels like he's going to fall out. Hopefully that means something. :)

    There's an annoying woman at work who points at my stomach everyday and says, "You still haven't dropped yet!" It pisses me off. Finally today I said, "That doesn't always indicate how close you are..." And she retorted, "Uh, yes it does." Anyhow, I went to an OB today and she said my baby IS low. And I just ate two helpings of pasta because guess what... there was room! So looks can be deceiving. And even you if haven't dropped, like other posters have said, baby can drop just hours before labor. So think positive and eat pasta :)
