I miscarried on sun. Lots of blood, huge clots, and the worst pain of my life. I should have been 9 1/2 weeks but the baby only measures 5w6d Yesterday(Monday) bad pain in the morning medium size clots, less blood. Today - lots of pain now (morning) less blood than yesterday. Questions- When will the pain get better? It is huge awful cramps. I've been taking Tylenol and ibuprofen. The doc said I could bleed for 2 weeks. Will I have terrible morning cramps that whole time? I want to get back to work and start moving on.
My doc said I could take 3 Advil at a time (so maybe up your dose of ibuprofen if you were taking less than 800 mg). I'm 6 days post cytotec and the cramping is almost gone. It was pretty bad up until today, but still bearable with Advil. Hope you start feeling better soon!

I had a d&e, but I had major bleeding and some clots for about a week after that, and lighter bleeding even longer. I only had horrible cramps for two nights. I don't know if the situation is comparable at all, but hopefully your cramps won't last much longer.

I took Cytotec, and my pain was most severe the night thereof. The pain since then has normally been in conjunction with heavy bleeding/clots, and is relatively mild otherwise.
My doctor put me on Vicodin, as I struggle with Ibuprofen. I stopped taking that after several days and replaced it with acetaminophen. The pain has been sporadic and relatively mild since then.
