  Is it like that constantly or at Random times? I get a feeling like that but it's gone as fast as it comes. It's called lightning crotch. If it's constant you might wanna call your doctor.

  Not SPD had that in Feb.... Holy crap that hurt. Now I'm having moderate contractions. Maybe he was head banging his way out. Lol

  Haha head banging. Sorry it does hurt but sounds like he is close to coming if you are 3cm and 100% effaced. Try not to hurt hubby too bad you need to preserve his limbs for abuse during contractions lol

  I'm not dialated or effaced yet. But when I got checked out at L&D she confirmed my baby's head is down there. She felt him. But then I knew that on my own lol.

  @ gamergirl83- I feel your pain. No dilation no effacement no nothing! It's so frustrating but I understand she's not ready

  Ladies, my first was induced at 42 weeks, 30 hours & 3 hours pushing. I feel your pain. The longer they are in there the better!!!! (Well for them anyways

  I have had the lightening crotch feelings off and on for weeks (36 wks 4 days today)...definitely takes my breath away and makes me say some choice words lol. At my 36 wk appt I was 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and the Dr could feel baby's head during the check. Also lost my mucous plug during the exam. My Dr said to be cautious until we see him tues for our 37 week check bc he's afraid I'll go into labor so we're to limit intercourse and such until then...Poor dh was a little upset lol. My Dr said he wants us to get to 37 weeks and then he'd be ok with inducing bc we're 1.5 hours from the hospital and we did IVF so my dates are known exactly so no need to worry and Baby's been measuring 2 weeks ahead the whole time. So excited, can't wait for Tuesday to see if we've progressed and to pick our induction date!

  Oh yeah. My last one wasn't really like that but this one loves to stretch and whack my cervix with his head. It hurts enough that I was sure he must be breech and actually kicking me, until an u/s check last week assured me otherwise. Crazy kids.

  Lol yep I did the same thing walking through Kroger the other day. And then proceeded to waddle through the store holding my crotch because I couldn't walk. Had to get home and lay on my side!

  I'm in so much pain and the pressure down there is crazy. It's is definitely getting hard to stand for long periods of time. Love the lighting crotch.....

  Girl I understand your pain 100%
  It's so ironic, because I'm actually going through this as I'm typing. It feels as though he's trying to push his head down further & further, goodness it is so painful. I lost my mucus plug about 3 days ago & having BH contractions like crazy. I'll be 39 weeks this Friday, so hopefully LO will make his arrival very soon.
