LO not sleeping during the day

My LO is 7 weeks old now & he isn't sleeping thru the day like he used to. He may sleep 20 to 35 minutes at a time but seems to wake up easily. He seems to want to interact more & is all smiles which is great, but I'm worried he isn't getting enough sleep to develop properly. It seems as though he's fighting falling asleep.

    Unless there is some sign that he's not developing, I wouldn't worry. They need to be awake to get stimulation and take in their surroundings.

    My LO is 10 weeks and he does the same thing . And the first couple of days that he did it I thought something was wrong . But the more he's awake during the day the longer he sleeps at night .

    So I think your LO is just fine . The older they get the more their sleep schedule turns around to get on track .

    It's totally normal. But it did make me miss her first couple weeks or fm constant sleeping purely so I could sleep lol.
