Still feeling nauseated after first trimester?

Are you ladies still not feeling well after the first trimester? People said that morning sickness should get better in the second trimester, but I am still not feeling that great...probably worst. What's your experience like?

Re: Still feeling nauseated after first trimester?

  • I am 15 weeks & 4 days, and only on day 4 of feeling good. Up until 4 days ago i had SEVERE all day sickness. Every woman is different, some women never get m.s, other have it the entire pregnancy.

  • With my D's I had morning sickness all day for all 9 months! It sucked ! With this bb it went away after week 10 but I am scared it can come back !

  • I am 13 weeks today and feel like in the last week the nausea, and vomitting, have gone into overdrive. I've found the eating cold foods, lower fat foods that are easier to digest, and much smaller portions have helped. Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant and eat a full meal which always ends up in the bathroom toilet, or a parking lot, or whatever is closest to me. Hope it gets better!
  • First pregnancy I had all day sickness till 6 months. This time I'm 16wks 5 days and still suffering from anytime sickness. I've lost about 8 pounds since the beginning of pregnancy and have gained 3 pounds so far. Here's to hoping it will subside soon. Good luck
  • Anyone have home remedies for nausea and vomiting? I'm 14 weeks (my first pregnancy) and can't seem to keep anything down or eat and I don't know what to do anymore my dr gave me diclegis and its helped until just recently...please and thanks!
  • Also I wake up every morning between 4am - 5am how normal is this?

I first developed morning sickness when I was 10-11 weeks, I'm almost 15 weeks and still have it, but thankfully only when I first wake up. I went to BRU and bought preggie pops last Tuesday, and I have to say they work pretty well! I might feel a bit nauseous at some points throughout the day, but I don't throw up. I'm on day 6 of no throwing up!
  • I had average morning sickness that spiked to pretty bad at 11 weeks. I would regularly get sick in the afternoon. I asked dr google and found out that acid reflux can mimick ms and a lot of women get it during the same timeframe. I asked my ob who said acid reflux before I finished telling him all the details. I started taking Pepcid before breakfast and dinner and I haven't vomited once. I feel way better generally as well. I would have never considered acid reflux because I didn't have heartburn but apparently they don't always go hand in hand. Just a thought for anyone out there who is still sick. May mot be ms.
  • I have been feeling great from 12 weeks to 15 and now at 15 snd 4 days feel really naseous. Is that something to worry about when you feel better and then it comes back?
  • 15 weeks here and still nauseous. Not as bad as first tri, but still here. I'm at least able to eat most of the time. I still get heartburn (which I had really bad during first tri) and I'm still tired all the time, but that might just be my thyroid. I'm due to get it checked again to make sure I'm on the right hormone dose (hypothyroidism right here).

@Dreamingmommy4 have you had your B-12 checked? I also have hypothyroidism, but have a B-12 deficiency and have to get shots because of it. I find when I'm due for my next shot is when I'm tired the most.
  • Im 14 weeks plus 4 and over the last week Ive just been feeling shocking.... I keep waiting for the sicknes to go but still simple things like tooth paste and drinking water just triggers it for me at the moment ..... glad im not the only one!!
