drink while pregnant

i was annoyed and angry (hormones not helping) when my childs fathers friend told me to drink wine while pregnant.. i brought it to his attention she was trying to have me in her situation her child was a preme with a bunch of birth problems i didnt appreciate that at all and he thought i was over reacting am i ?

    Did she mean regularly or like once? I had a glass of wine and champagne while pregnant and was fine...

    Having an occasional glass of wine or beer is fine. We're talking once every couple of weeks. If you are a high stress person and it calms you down I've heard a dr recommend it! Judge all you want, I had the occasional glass of wine during both pregnancies and both of my children are happy healthy children!

    My doctor told me I could have the occasional small glass of wine during my pregnancy. I believe her, but I chose not to have any.

    I had the ocassional glass as well. It's not a big deal. Regardless, why get upset about what your SO friend says? What does he know?
