Teething? Sleep Regression? Seperation Anxiety?

Hi everyone. I am mostly a lurker but thought I would seek out some advice today. My daughter has veen a great sleeper since day one. Outside of a 4 month sleep regression that lasted 2 weeks it has been smooth sailing. Until recently...the last 4 night she has been up 4-5 times. I'm back to needing to feed her every night. She wakes up screaming sometimes. I know some of it is teething. She cut her first tooth March 28 and tooth 7 and 8 are ready to pop through any day. It's insane.

Just looking for any similar experiences, thoughts, advice etc. I'm exhausted and im running out of things to do and try.

Re: Teething? Sleep Regression? Seperation Anxiety?

  • It might be a temporary thing, maybe developmentally related too. They learn so much during the day, they say it can mess with their sleep cycles. It might correct itself, hopefully! We've had waves of better and not so awesome sleep here. I dream of sleeping through the night!

  • My LO sometimes does this. He's pretty random... And I can't pinpoint exactly why he wakes up so much at night. Not much advice here, just know we're dealing with it too! (Not so much screaming... Just waking up...)
  • Must be a phase. My daughter has been doing the same thing for about a month and used to sleep through the night.

  • I'm dealing with the same thing. I try to let her cry it out, and she ends up crying so hard she makes herself sick! Here's to hoping it's just a phase.
