She is not sleeping. WWYD?

I put DD down like I usually do with a bottle & rocking. She fell asleep but when I put her in her crib she wakes up. This has happened twice now. I've left her in her crib with her pacifier & she is just rolling around babbling & playing with her pacifier(I'm watching her on the monitor). She will cry every so often but than goes back to babbling.

Should I just leave her? Should I try to get her to sleep? She doesn't seem to be tired.

  • Heck....that's great!!!!  I was going to say just let her CIO but if she's just babbling and crying every now and then....leave her!  I would love for it to go that easily for us at night!  DD is a very awake child.  She only took a total of 1 hr. combined naps today and she's still wide awake.

  • Waiting for your replies as DS did the same thing tonight. I followed our routine bath, story, nurse bed and as soon as I put him in his crib he woke up. He is talkin to him self/fussing right now. Everytime I go in his room he stops fussying talking. I tell him goodnight and leave the room then he talks and starts fussing. Hoping you get some good suggestions.

  • Gave her a pacifier, she rolled onto her side, I rubbed her back for a minute & she is out. Waiting for the other shoe to drop.

  • I'm right there with ya'll. I need help! Any ideas? My DS just started over the weekend, also. He keeps rolling over and babbling, with an occasional cry thrown in for good measure. No one in this house is sleeping:).
