Bug repellent

I have a two month hold daughter and I'm worried about bug bites and was wondering when we can start putting repellent on her and what kind??? My daughter is a red head and has sensitive skin (I do too) I've heard of some repellents for babies still being too strong but we live in Georgia and the Mosquitos are swarming day and night any advice is appreciated
