28 weeks today! So happy we have made it this far. July 11 is our due date. Baby is an eggplant.

Three kitties, one of whom thinks the bassinet is for him

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?

Had a really tough two days. Lots of aches and pains and allergies. The allergies are still here, but I am feeling better today. Actually got up early (even after being up between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. due to bathroom breaks and insomnia), washed the bed linens, washed my and fiance's cars and getting ready to clean the bathrooms and kitchen floor.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?

Had an appointment yesterday. Met another doc in the practice. (There are six. I have met two.) He was awesome. Came in and high fived me for having a baby at 43, lol. His wife had a baby at 40. Anyway, I really liked him. Felt very comfortable. Got my TDAP yesterday and my arm hurts, but it's managable. Got my breast pump prescription, so gonna plan on starting that process soon.

RAVE: Fiance comes home today after being away for a week for work!!!! He was supposed to come home last night, but his flight our of Denver was cancelled. I am excited to see him.

QOTW: Do you have a hobby? What do you like to do in your spare time (if you even have any spare time)? Like sports? Movies? Hiking? Camping? What kinds of things do you like to do either alone or with your family? We are a sports family/couple. Like watching baseball, football, basketball and hockey. Have tickets to the Diamonbacks and Cardinals. Am kinda bummed that I will miss some Cardinals games this year, but it's definitely for a good reason. We also like to hike and travel. We're also kinda dorks, and looking forward to the new Avengers movie and the Star Wars one in December. (Can you say babysitter, lol?!)

2 kitties. Samurai the Ewok Praetorian Guard is currently trying to lay on the bump. He's so weird.

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Really tired. I also got my TDAP yesterday. My arm actually feels pretty good. But I have been riding the post vaccine crash for a day now.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
On the every two week schedule now. Next appointment two weeks from yesterday. As far as I know its just another same old, same old.
Rants or raves - too tired. Just got off work and my feet / ankles hurt to distraction

I love to read. That's my personal hobby. I also consider myself a gamer chick, I play a lot of video games. I do like to watch sports - hockey, football, baseball (baseball is an 'in person' thing. On TV its pretty blah, but I can pass time that way). We used to have season tickets to the NY Islanders until we moved away from NY this past summer. Bummed I am missing their playoff run right now. Hubby and I also like to go for rides on his harley, but I doubt we'll get much of those in this summer

4. Uncomfortable and in pain. Still on modified bed rest. Just hanging in there for the last stretch, almost there!

5. Prenatal appointment next week. I've been having a lot of BH with cramping so I'm contemplating asking for a cervical check. Part of me wants to know something is happening and part of me doesn't want to fuel my hopes when really it tells me nothing about timeline.

Rave: DH has been watching DD all day today so I can rest and the break has been heaven.

QOTW: My main hobby is running. It's my drug of choice. Had to put it on the back burner for now but I can't wait to get back to it postpartum. I also love to travel but that's a hobby that happens with less frequency. I do dream about traveling and research a lot though, so I guess that's a hobby!

Still feeling ok but very large. Some discomfort while walking, some heartburn and the bathroom trips are really getting out of hand, but overall pretty good.

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?

Must get the Tdap today or tomorrow - I was technically supposed to get it last week but the time just flew. I had a growth scan last Monday and the baby was in the 44th percentile, a significant drop from 72nd percentile at week 20, but I gather these are not always accurate and depend on many things...

Love reading, writing, playing volleyball (which I haven't done in way too long), skiing with my husband, swimming, and hiking... I really hope life with baby allows for some of those things to continue....!

So far I'm feeling okay. Getting over pneumonia, so I'm pretty exhausted.

Just got my BFP today. Calling my doctor to make an appointment tomorrow.

Insomnia returned last week, was rough. But otherwise can't complain.

30 weeks...the 10, 9, 8... countdown is on. That part always flies by for me

7 children. Some animals including a kitten who can no accept I closed the bedroom window today due to plummeting temps...so he has tried to jump into the window, hit it and fell to the ground over 13 times in 2 hours.
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc?
Overall well. Had a bad bout of reflux today. My knee has been bothering me a lot lately for some unknown reason.

Rave: New vehicle came in and picked it up Friday. Very nice. Every option available.

Got one tutu skirt made for my oldest daughter for up coming ballet recital. It went well.

Not sure if this is a rant or rave: We decided to go to Chicago (road trip) at the beginning of May for a long weekend. Its always such an effort to take this huge family on trips! Hopefully we will have a good time and walking all day for days won't be too tiring!

What kinds of things do you like to do either alone or with your

I like sewing. Mostly fine Heirloom style sewing. Along with that I mostly enjoy the handwork of hand smocking and embroidery. I make lots of nice smocked or heirloom style dresses for my little girls. I do things for my baby/toddler boys too.

I also LOVE going to garage sales in the summer.

I love trying new recipes. SO much so my family jokes that if you like something I make its sort of too bad because you will probably never eat it again as I repeat meals so infrequently!

As a family we camp. We end up traveling a bit. Every year we take a couple week trip to Disney world. A few or more long weekend away trips too.

Definitely more tired than usual.
Just today my knees are really bothering me. Thought it was unrelated but I googled it and seems it's a common symptom ... Even this early.

Had 2 blood tests 13 DPO / HCG 66 & 15 DPO / HCG 219. It's looking good so my 1st ultrasound is in 2 weeks

6.Hobby

Love to read but never have time.
My hubby runs half marathons every few weeks so I'll do the 5K with the LOs in the stroller.

4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? I have had the worst stomach aches/cramps for the past couple of months. Doctor keeps telling me it's normal pregnancy aches and pains, but I hurt so bad. Ugh.

Had another anatomy scan Saturday but LO wasn't cooperating, face turned towards my back the entire time so I have to go back in a couple of weeks. I told my parents over Skype that we're expecting and my mom did not take it well. She made the worst disappointed face and said "Four boys? Wasn't three enough?". Made me feel pretty crappy because (a) we weren't trying to have a baby and (b) I did not choose the sex of any of the kids! She really favors my nieces. My parents live overseas and usually visit in the fall. My mom also said they don't know if they want to come now. Nice huh? Meanwhile, when my sister just had a baby they went to help her during pregnancy, right after she delivered, and they are making their 3rd trip in a couple of weeks. The next day she called me from a baby boutique and was out shopping for my baby... I guess that was her way of making up for her crappy reaction.

What kinds of things do you like to do either alone or with your family? I love to scrapbook, cook/bake, see ballets, shop & read. Pretty much anything girly. I hate sports. Unfortunately I'm the only female in my family, and with three active boys I don't get much time for myself. Mostly everything is centered around boy stuff.

Due date is June 3rd. Almost 34 weeks. Thank GOD! Home stretch!

Our DD is 2. DS is 6. One dog who also thinks he should be the baby, although, he's almost 11!

My lower abdominal pain actually feels a bit better the last few days. Not quite as painful. My sciatic pain is still driving me nuts but I do ok during the day when I'm moving around.. it's bedtime that gets hard. I'm battling some nausea from time to time which sucks. Mostly, I just feel very large and ready to not be pregnant anymore.

My next appt. is Thursday. I see my OB bi-weekly and have the entire pregnancy and I receive makena injections weekly so I feel like I'm constantly there. This week will be an OB appt.. but they don't really do much besides listen to heartrate, measure me, and talk to me about contraceptives after birth. lol

I would love to have time to do a lot of things but usually I don't. I love to be crafty. I have a pending nursery project that's been pending for weeks! I need to get working on it. But I have to do that stuff when the kids are in bed or they'll be into everything. I LOVE to bake. I love cooking and baking but I rarely have time for that either. I love really complex recipes and things that take a lot of time but I rarely get to do that anymore. I love to travel.. who doesn't??!! My mom goes on probably 4 vacations a year but her big vacation is always in December every year. Before kids, she used to pay for me to come with her for a week.. sometimes two! I miss that. I miss being able to relax.

thinkpink101 Your mom's reaction is very similar to the reaction I've received from a lot of people! it's really bothering me actually! My mom was more in shock I think then anything and she's been nice and fine. My dad.. not so much. Every time I see him.. he's just like I don't know why you need another kid. I went to a bridal shower a few weeks ago. It was for my step sister so I know their family but I don't really KNOW their family. There was a lady there who apparently I haven't met much because I didn't recognize her and she said OMG you're pregnant AGAIN?! I felt like saying.. and you are who?? Most people treat me like I'm Michelle Duggar or something. This is our third baby. It's a boy. We were NOT trying so this was an oops. It's just aggravating because DH and I are great parents. Our kids are healthy and happy. Our 10 year anniversary is in a few weeks. We have a house.. cars.. good jobs. We're responsible. So we sort of feel like.. ok it was an accident but babies are blessings and we'll be fine! I don't know why there's such a negative reaction!

@niknak1208, sorry you are getting some bad reactions too

My mom tried to backpedal and say she was really concerned for us because of space, car etc. but we own a house that's plenty big (baby will have his own room, and we'll still have space for guests) our car seats 7. We're good! Yes, we hadn't planned on this, but it's happening!!

Meh. Physically, my hips are a little better since I started PT, but my rib cage is totally crooked - left ribs are splayed out and right ribs are crunched together. Apparently nothing to worry about (just related to baby's position) but also apparently nothing to do except deal with it. Yuck.

34 week appointment was today. Doc says everything looks good. Next visit in two weeks and then moving to weekly check-ups.

DH and I watch a lot of sports, but we don't root for the same teams, so that can be interesting at times. We also love camping, and I assume we won't be doing much of that this summer. Personally, I enjoy knitting, although I haven't knit much recently. I should get back to it. I have a pair of mittens to finish...

How are you feeling? Generally much better, but definitely tired. My goal is to try and get to bed a bit earlier though I'm not optimistic it will happen!

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Anatomy scan in 2 weeks, so excited! Rants or raves? Had a regular 4 wk check today and I was very anxious going into it, last appt at 13 wks we couldn't find babies heartbeat with doppler and had to use an ultrasound and even then could only see it not hear it. Dr said everything was fine but I was still nervous. Found babies heartbeat easily today so all is good but my first blood pressure reading was really high, I know it's because i was so anxious, they waited a few minutes and took it again and it had come down...uggg I see myself probably going on HBP medication at some point.
